About Me

Hello! My name is Monica Formosa.  Thank you for coming in and learning more about myself.

I am married with four children - from 28 to 22, and I have always had a love of craft. I've dabbled in may different genres of handcrafts over the years and it was my much needed time-out from my everyday life.  None more so when our second daughter was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome (RS) in 1997.  Stephanie has since passed away due to health complications associated with RS.  Our youngest still lives at home but his two older sisters have left home to initially attend university before deciding that they wanted to make their own way in the world without the hassle of having parents overlooking every move.

My love affair with paper crafts started when I received a handmade Christmas card back in 2000.  I knew immediately that this was something I wanted to try.  It wasn't until 2014 that I was introduced to Stampin' Up! through a very good friend of mine and I was smitten.  What I loved most was that Stampin' Up! products co-ordinated with each other: ink, cardstock, paper and embellishments.  No more wasted time looking through my stash for products to match.

Later that same year, I decided to join Stampin' Up! "just for the discount" and my enjoyment of stamping has grown since I was first introduced.   I love experimenting with colour and techniques and in 2019, I decided I wanted to share my love of Stampin' Up! with others and began to hold my own classes. Sharing what I love has enabled me to meet so many wonderful people, many who will remain life long friends.

If you would like to try your hand at papercraft, cardmaking and memory keeping or if you would like reconnect after a time away, using qualitiy products from Stampin' Up!  please feel free to contact me.

Thank you again for visiting my Blog.
